Matriarchal Call is a continuation of the dialogue in You Can't Fight Nature.

Due to the nature of poaching, elephant social behavior, and intelligence, Matriarchal Call asks people to reflect on how their emotions affect non-human animals by challenging the human consequences of instrumental anthropocentrism. Matriarchal Call's leading question is, “How can justifying harm to non-human entities for human purposes impact ecosystems, species survival, and ethical responsibility?”

Alongside You Can't Fight Nature, the two artworks ask in essence: How do human-centered values impact non-human entities, and in what ways? Are the effects similar, opposite, or both? Together, the pieces act as a reflection of when human traits are assigned to justify human-centered views.
